| What is Holistic Stress Management Therapy?
The focus of Holistic Stress Management Therapy is to help clients
find ways to improve their quality of life, eliminate stress and become
empowered and fulfilled.
During this process you will learn how to relax body and mind, let
go of unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviours and make changes
in areas of your life that you would like to improve.
Holistic Stress Management sessions can help with:
- Depression and mood swings
- Panic attacks and phobias
- Chronic anxiety or worry
- Insomnia and other sleep problems
- Job, career or school difficulties
- Relationship issues
- Feeling “stressed out”
- Insufficient self-esteem (accepting or respecting yourself)
- Passivity, procrastination and “passive aggression”
Session structure
Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. The first session will last
1.5 hours allowing time for a case history to be taken.
An initial course of 6 sessions is recommended ideally meeting once
a week or once every two weeks.
My Approach
Holistic stress management is about learning how to develop our physical,
mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
With this in mind I offer a wide range of practical strategies including
time management and assertiveness training, relaxation techniques,
guided imagery, cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling skills,
career management, flower essences and nutrition.
